Twitch Bans ‘Implied Nudity’ After Creators Push Boundaries

BY LALIT VERMA

Twitch has recently banned "implied nudity" following a trend where some streamers hinted at being unclothed.

This move adds to Twitch's ongoing efforts to address sexual content on the platform.

Twitch banned the "implied nudity" tactic, popularized by streamers like Morgpie, who was initially banned but later reinstated.

Last month, Twitch faced backlash for relaxing sexual content policies, allowing "artistic nudity," leading to rule abuses.

The platform reversed the decision due to community concerns. Twitch has a history of struggling with sexual content moderation,

facing criticism in 2021 for its swimwear policy and taking action against streamers exploiting it for risqué broadcasts.
