Irish musician Sinéad O'Connor's cause of death has been revealed as natural causes by the London coroner's office.
The 56-year-old singer, known for her iconic buzzcut and hit "Nothing Compares 2 U," passed away on July 26, 2023.
O'Connor was a prominent figure in music and activism, challenging industry norms and addressing social issues.
Her controversial acts included refusing to perform if the U.S. anthem played and tearing a photo of Pope John Paul II
on "Saturday Night Live" in protest of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church.
O'Connor had openly discussed mental health struggles and tragically lost her son to suicide.
The coroner's statement concludes the case, and a tribute concert in her honor is scheduled for March 20 in New York City.
