It is also highly possible that Courteney Cox will return as Gale Weathers, who has appeared in every Scream movie and survived the events of the sixth Scream movie.

Hayden Panettiere who plays the role of Kirby Reed, and the first to encounter the Ghostface in 2011’s Scream 4 movie, is also hoped to return. However, due to the actors’ strike, the casting for Scream 7 has not been announced yet officially.

Scream 7 movie is the upcoming seventh installment in the horror-slasher franchise. As of now November 2023, the Scream 7 movie does not have an official release date. Yet, the Scream 7 movie is expected to come out in theaters by late 2024 or in the early-mid of 2025.

The returning characters are yet to be authorized, while fans are eagerly anticipating the possible return of Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott.
