Microsoft will shut down Windows Mixed Reality feature

The Windows Mixed Reality feature was first released by Microsoft to give users access to virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences on Windows 10 computers. Microsoft has come out in relief by saying that after shutting down the Windows Mixed Reality feature, users will still be able to have VR experiences using Steam VR and other third-party VR platforms.

However, many people are linking the reason for discontinuing this mixed reality feature to the plans of Hololens 3 headset. Due to the cancellation of HoloLens 3 plans, there was no point in maintaining the Windows Mixed Reality feature, so it can also be discontinued.
